GRANITE

A course grained igneous rock (volcanic - formed from molten materials). It is composed of feldspar, mica and quartz. Granite is a very hard and durable product. The two different types are:

Split Granite Rock which is blasted, broken and sharp edged.
Natural Granite Rock which is rounded and soft to the eye. 

Normally tan/cream in colour with a black flick throughout. Very well suited to wet areas.
